Moulding material changes
Miles Platts would like to inform you that we shall shortly be introducing DuPont Zytel 70G30 HSL (UL file number E41938 - Flammability rating UL94HB - 0.75mm) as a primary Glass Reinforced Nylon (GNN/BLK) along with Rhodia Technyl B218V30. This may be used for any product that uses the material code GNN in its part number. If you specifically require the Rhodia Technyl B218 V30 material then please ensure that you state this on your purchase orders and use the specific material code T30, in the case of DuPont Zytel 70G30 HSL use the material code Z30 (in certain instances this may incur an additional cost).
Also we are introducing DuPont Zytel E101L (UL file number E41938 - UL flammability rating UL94V2 - 0.71mm) as our primary Unreinforced material (UNN/BLK). This may be used for any product that uses the material code UNN in its part number. If you specifically require the previous standard (UNN/BLK) Thermofil material - AMU0099S, please contact out Technical Sales department (once again a premium may be applied).
The above DuPont Materials are equivalent or of a higher specification than the Technyl or Thermofil grades and are approved in many UL1446 insulation systems.
